Speaking of the duo....Anne Bancroft,who played the namesake of their 1968 #1 hit Mrs. Robinson,passed on about 3 days ago or so.
Quite ironic that she passed away exactly 37 years to the week that the song hit the top of the charts!
Very big coincidence.
The song was also #1 the day I was born.
Well,here's to you Anne,you did a heck of a job playing Mrs R. ! Rest in Peace.
