Well now that Halloween is past and Thanksgiving (American) is around the corner I thought I'd pass on some very nice holiday mp3s free from The Washington Post (http://mp3.washingtonpost.com/holida...lidays04.shtml). You'll probably have to register first (it's free) and have to agree not to upload the songs elsewhere etc. But it's a nice assortment of Washington area artists providing traditional and not-so-traditional takes on seasonal music. Some are a-cappella, some instrumental. I particularly like "Silent Night" as done by the neo-folk group "Eddie from Ohio", and a jazz instrumental of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" by the James Bazen Big Band. And for a giggle, give a listen to John Pappajohn doing the "Thin Santa Blues", the calorically-challenged department store Santa.
