Wow. Thanks, Sean! I'm glad you liked what you heard.
Most of this stuff was recorded live at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs (during a Lightfoot tribute with some newsgroupers) or at Val Magee's house at her very cool little studio, and a couple songs were recorded on my home PC. I have a CD coming out that was recorded at Grant Avenue Studios, with Bob Doidge playing high string, bass, drums, and various other instruments. (What a musician he is!).
My guitar of choice is a Martin D-15 that has suffered more than its fair share of accidents. But it's like a cat... it has 9 lives (and it's on #8 right now). I also have an OM28V, but I still find myself reaching for the D-15. I just like that earthy, dark tone. (And that mahogany smells good, doesn't it, Char)?
I will keep you posted on the California trip.
