I have no clue what you're talking about.
It's a non profit status pending organization who is currently negotiating to buy about 1000 tapes recorded at various outdoor and indoor venues across the south in the 50's by one gentleman, obviously a bluegrass fan. The analog tapes are legit as are the amazaing variety of artists that are on them. Once the tapes are purchased they'll be digitally mastered and the music offered through a website for educational and entertainment purposes at no cost with the original tapes donated to a non profit Bluegrass Museum. The mastered work will be available for download and or trade; two concepts I know nothing about. It's a race against time as the gentleman is quite old as are the tapes.
What they want from me is fundraising advice. Who do we approach about funding this project, how do we write a grant, what do we need our website to look like etc. In order to do that, I need to understand the ultimate goal of the organization which is to make rare recordings available at no cost through an internet site.
