horse,

I'm cool with boy and what other names you want to give me. I've been called worse and I am sure even by you. A bit of advice: let stuff like names roll off your back. Be strong enough to look at the real issues and not simple things like names. It will hopefully reduce your anger.

As far as I can tell, you refer to yourself as a horse in your name. Either you are referring to a horse that is violet blue in color, or you are describing yourself. Either way, a horse is a horse, of course, of course. If the word horse bothers you so much, change your name to violet blue, or violet green, violet blue-green etc. It really is a simple fix to change a name that you do not like, which you picked all by yourself. So, I will continue to call you horse, for short, because it is a part of your name. For example "PaddleToTheSea" is often referred to as simply "paddle". Get my drift yet? Good. An important point too I might add is you went through the trouble of adding "horse" to your name.

The war is important and should be talked about by anyone who wishes to do so. Again, obviously, you don't, so I say to you politely, stay away from this thread.

I went back and re-read everything up until you posted. I could not find any strong statements that would offend anybody (at least from my point of view). There was the post about how wrong it was to say God bless America and I assume that did not tick you off. I guess what made you so angry to lash out was my comments on why that was a bad idea. Not in any way a religious reason, but rather citing the liberal left wing and their personal motives for what they do. I'm going out on a limb here, but I assume that is what made you mad. I guess it doesn't really matter at this point because you are only spouting off about maintenence issues on this forum as there are no valid facts to support accusations that you have made.

I really can't see where this thread was arguing, fighting or anything else other than civil coversation until you came along, horse. You are the one that always turns discussions into fighting. Just because a thread turns into serious discussions about issues, (this one was not) does not give you the right to start posting irresponsibly and come out shooting with both barrels.

You need to learn tact. You need to learn humility. You need to learn to control yourself. You need to find out why you have so much deep seated anger. You shouldn't let other issues spread into what you write on this forum. Your anger in your initial post was not a normal reaction for this kind of thread. I can see being upset if you don't agree, but there are ways to deal with your anger and get your point across without attacking. It does not serve your point-of-view well. Instead of riding on emotions, learn the facts and form your opinions accordingly. This is what makes interesting threads and allows people to discuss and even debate in a civilized fashion, natch.

Don't try to bury your head in the sand and act like this war does not exist for even one moment. Our troops cannot escape the reality of war and God forbid that the little horse cannot go to a forum, in the comfort of her home, and not find the war. War is serious business and I will not try to escape what is going on. Our soldiers are living it 24/7 and I would feel a tad uneasy about trying to escape simple discussions that pose no threat to me whatsoever. Seems a little "off" to me. Sorry that you can't escape the war and just choose to read some "thank-you's" to our troops on this forum. At least you don't have terrorists outside your door trying to poision and kill you. At least you can voice your opinion publicly where it be on the internet or in a demonstration and not have to worry about having your loved ones killed and beaten for what you have done. You can thank Mr. Bush and all our allies for protecting all of us Americans from threats like that.
