Just checked this one out and I really like Annne Murray as well,although all i have is "Country" and her greatest hits LP. She kinda depresses me when I listen to,"You Needed Me" which used to actually make me cry when I was a kid.
One of her greatest under-appreciated songs,is the late '80s,"Now and Forever (You and Me)". Although it has that 80s AOR syth. and voice echo,it's still good enough that I bought and still have my copy of it,even though it wasn't a top 40 hit for her. Kind of like Gordon's,"Anything For Love".

I'm not to keen on her cover versions,especially,yes,Gordon's<"Cotton Jenny". Slower,sung in female POV and the lyrics about the south deleted,it's just not the same. Sorry Anne! Love your singingbut it's better when the song is an original.
