In another topic I think it was Dunkin Michael Douglas who asked why this label was called "Brear Family" I just found the answer on their site "The name 'Bear Family' comes from an 1898 encyclopaedia. There, Weize saw a wood engraving of a female bear with its cubs. Something clicked, and the label was named". So there you go!!!
