I mentioned in my Borderstone Tapes thread that Olivia Newton-John covered,"If You Could Read My Mind" on her "Let Me Be There" Lp. It was either re-named or mistakenly titled<"If I could Read "Your" Mind". ONJ is a talented woman with an unforgettable voice (and is very beautiful on her LP covers!) but she never should have done this! It takes a deep brooding love song and turns it into an MOR DJ's worst nightmare! She's on key but off base for this selection. Sorry Olivia! I like you but leave the originals alone.
