Aengus and I spoke about how great it was that Gord had come to the show and how he seemed to be more accepting about just what his place is in people's lives, be they musicians or those of us who just listen. He's come to grips with who he is, what his music means and I really think he's enjoying the tributes, awards, accolades, at this time in his life. And I am so thrilled that we are all able to do this now, instead of "later." Lightfoot showing up was his way of saying thanks, I appreciate you too. He's humble and thankful, we're grateful and thankful. It seems to be working out well!
