As I've said in previous posts,I had never owned any of Gord's albums (I guess that word dates me, huh?), but, instead listened to my girlfriend's over... and over... and over... So, I'm making up for it now. I now have 8 CD's (Complete Greatest Hits, Sundown, Waiting for You, Cold on the Shoulder, Don Quixote, Endless Wire, Dream Street Rose, East of Midnight, A Painter Passing Through, and his DVD, "Live in Reno." I actually love his DVD the most. I literally watch it over and over and over. My husband is going nuts. (Jealous??!) I've just ordered five more CD's and I can't wait!! (If You Could Read My Mind, Summer Side of Life, Old Dan's Records, Salute, and Shadows.) I'm listening to these for the *first time* and I'm finding LOTS and LOTS of songs I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! Each time I finish listening to one several times, the songs get into my head and I can follow the lyrics in my head as he sings [no WAY will I sing along with or (heavens!) over his voice!!] This is one singer (what a paltry word to describe this wonderful man) I want to LISTEN to, not sing with! I am in heaven, dear Gordon. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will see you in Vegas!
