I will stop (just) short of suggesting another case of " The Emporers New Clothes" but I came to a quick, easy conclusion re that song.
My take was less than rocket science. This bloke sees many thousands of lovely ladies coming into his concerts all the time. Many of them look at him like a (willing) rabbit in a spotlight.
He is known as being a touch on the "red blooded" side (for want of a better term ) and to me he is pondering as many of us of the "weaker sex" would , when he sees all those lovely ladies .."what if ? "..

He might have a touch better chance than some of us to do a little more than ponder ...lol

Sorry if that is too superficial and not romantic enough girls, but what do you expect from a low Aussie male ?
