Well after he got all settled in I might invite him to go for a walk and unwind a bit on one of my favorite trails: an old beautiful country road that takes us through the woods with an incredible view of the deep ravines and creeks that are all over the far sw burbs of Chicago, or perhaps one of the other many picturesque trails that encircle a small lake.
I'm not the best cook in the world, but Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs is known for having some of the best food in the world, so I might opt to take him to a great steak house or italian restaurant. Maybe the italian would be better, since I read in an interview somewhere he likes pasta! :D
