First of all, if Gord was coming to my house, I'd have to take a month off from work just to clean it up! (lol) It'd take me that long just to get all the dust bunnies out from under beds and in closets. Then when he arrived, I'd have a tall glass of sweetened iced tea with a sprig of mint in it waiting on him. He'd probably expect that kind of southern hospitality from me. Then I'd have to crank up the A/C a bit cause he's not used to all the heat and humidity- I can't have him melting on me (hush, Char, LAMS, Erica . . . you know what I meant!).
Then after he'd caught his breath, I'd show him our version of Mt. Rushmore; Stone Mountain, and perhaps a few other sites around town. Then I'd take him to work and show him around the place . . . perhaps talk him into an impromptu mini-concert for my co-workers, and myself naturally. Then I'd take him to Longhorns, and with a bunch of my friends, we'd just shoot the breezel and eat the best steak in town!
