Actually, how many "happy songs" does Gord have? That's a good topic for another thread!

I think that coping with heartache is perhaps Gord's main theme, and although I'm not even an armchair shrink, I'd venture to guess that that theme is what attracted DMD3 to Gord's music in the first place. Like Eric Clapton wanting the blues, as a youngster and ever since. It helps with the coping.

Don't feel you *must* "cheer up," DMD3, but understand that when we mention it, it's just because most of us are so much older. We've been there, and we would just *love* to have a few of those precious days back when we (hell, *I*) just moped around and listened to music and watched TV (no fiddling around on the Web back then for me--it was the dark ages of the 70s!)
