Hi Sheryl,

I'm Canadian - from the East Coast. Thanks for sharing your memories. Yeah, he's pretty much an institution up here! My Dad often played his records, and that's where I picked up an appreciation for his music. Just about every high school English student in this country studies "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" as a narrative poem.
