I can't believe I missed this thread! 7 Island Suite is my most favorite Lightfoot song and I am always so disappointed when he doesn't sing it in concert. Has anyone ever heard him sing it in concert? I have a hearing loss and I could only make out a few of the words over the years and just fell in love with the music and the feelings it called up. When I finally got a chance to read the words (thanks to this wonderful site)I realized that the meaning of the song did come through to me through the music. What a gifted singer/songwriter!
