I thought I just had to have the Collins book...couldn't find it, so used inter-library loan to check it out for free. (WE FORGET LIBRARIES ARE A GREAT RESOURCE)
Glad I didn't pay for the book. I had an earlier biography by someone whose name escapes me now...it has lots of pics and goes up through Endless Wire (?). Picked it up at huge bookstore in downtown Toronto in 1980. A much more positive book.
Collins dwells on juicy, gossipy details about Lighfoot's unfortunate excesses. The ugly details I don't mind, but there seemed to be no balance.
