Thanks, everyone! I have emailed the seller and am waiting on a response. At least there are two for sale on the planet! I would like to know how this special model actually sounds. I have many acoustics, and if you play three of the same model, each one is slightly different. Does anyone else find that to be true? I am buying a Martin, and while having Gord's model would be the ultimate trip, it still must sound special. I played a David Crosby model, basically the same appointments, and it sounded like crap! It looked good, though! Any opinions???

HI Sean,
From a "collectable" point of view the guitar may be worth $5,000.00 but from a players point of view it is not. You can get a great sounding stock D-18 anywhere for about $1500-1600. have played the D-18GL. It is a nice guitar but unnless you are buying it as an expensive collectable, it is way overpriced for the (good but not extraordinary) guitar you will get. Just a players point of view. No way that plays like a 5 grand guitar!
