No, I didn't mean he's past recording, as long as he can sing, he can record...I just meant that he's past worring about all that record company garbage many artists have to live with..for example, he said that Warners wanted "Painter" to be a country album, but it didn't feel right...so he put in 2 token songs he didn't write to keep them happy.
Columbia pretty much has let Bob Dylan do what he wanted in the studio, and it wasn't till "Time Out of Mind" that he had any recent big sales. Maybe Gord could sell such an album over the net?
