I can only imagine what the burden must be exactly, to wake up every day and be "Bob Dylan"..
I'm sure the guy just wishes he could be "Bob Doe" allot'a days etc..
as for the nice things you imply about Gord's aging character being something to marvel at..
I could not possibly agree more..
I always loved his songbook since I was a kid (I've played for 30 years (next year) and can give the guy no greater praise musically than to say that to this day I play with a capo exclusively in the 2nd fret and always etc.)..
but the guy's dignity, personal integrity, the way he carries himself through this increasingly cockamamie world in the last, say, 10-20 years?..
I must say..
well, as I'm fond of saying..
Gord is my hero..
(in all the best ways)..
I hope I can make it to Orillia..
