I listened to "Dr. Demento" all through high school! :D I pretty much stopped right after I graduated. I do recall a couple of songs that made fun of GL's songs and his style.
One of them was a tune about how to use his songs as an aid in getting a good night's sleep! (Not sure which smiley to use on that one!
)
At least it was "sort of" a mention! :D
