It has been cold! It even rained today. I am now in LA and just relaxing from a very busy week. I know at least one night it got down below freezing.
San Diego is a great city and I can certainly see why people love it so much.

Yeah I love San Diego. La Mesa is a suburb - as a matter of fact, my apartment is just two blocks from the city line - so I spend a lot of time downtown and in various other areas of town). One of the things that drew me to it was that San Diego is a huge city, yet still has that small town feel to it - If that makes any sense.
It's just too bad the weather couldn't have been it's usual for your visit - sunny, warm days; slightly cooler, but not cold nights and minimal to no rain. Then you really would have thought San Diego was great
