I don't know what that DB guy thinks now, I think that he is probably doing othre thingsand probbly doessnt care. One of the downsides abuot Gord's aging that that jerk didnot point out was the fact that his voice is getting weaker. Tom, I remmber that you have said that he still sounds good for a guy born in 11-17-38, but I think in my opinion that his voice was the richest in both the Lightfoot and The Way I Feel album. He can really hit the high "ooh" notes in Steel Rail Blues and Song For A Winter's Night. Today his range is limited. He cannot raise it in songs like Rainy Day Poeple or Bewtiful like he did on those old records. This is evidenced in Gordon Lightfoot Live Tv special. On a positive effect, he looks liek he is in very good shape, and he has even outlived Elvis Presley, and stood the test of time. Mustache or no mustache, he will always be young at heart!!!
