One more thought I was hanging on first with a 1" diameter soft nylon rope with knots every 2 feet, and was clipped in. Then, it changed to a 11mm standard climbing rope with only a prusik sling. Now, it feels like I am down to a 6mm perlon linewrapped twice around my wrist and hand, no sit-harness, jumar, or prusik, just squeezing too tight I think my hands will never work. Had to vent to someone that knows me well enough to know I am not really wallowing in self-pity, buy rather using humour as a positive self-talk thang using self-deprecating humour. Ask the boys over at the local climbing shop about all that stuff, and you'll see the logical progression of it getting harder to.. hang on.
good to hear ya again Silverheels. Are you in the lee of.... your Island I hope ? It sure sounds good.
