A bit of background info... OK - I've been *lurking* a bit again. I was a regular poster here but I had a dangerous, highly intrusive, menacing stalker & he made it known that he was also stalking...

Re: Remembering Barry Harvey

Wow. That's a lot of inappropriate, misplaced rage. You really should seek mental health care.

Try to grasp the fact that when someone actually decides to share helpful info it's inappropriate...

Re: Remembering Barry Harvey

Thanks for the input, JJ. This must be a particularly difficult time of the year for Barry's family. He was so young. I'm sure his untimely death shocked everyone.

You're right, John - it was Greg. Met him last spring and the poor man was STRESSED OUT. (as in "losing it".) That's a big job.

I was also told that Leslie was no longer with the organization as...

Both Gord and Anne told me about it. I didn't ask for names. And at that point Leslie was no longer with the organization.

Re: cover of SUNDOWN by Toby Keith

I do like Toby's version but this person is out to lunch. Toby's version is super laid back - not "passionate." And he certainly doesn't capture "the same vibe." (Gordon's version is much more edgy,...

Re: cover of SUNDOWN by Toby Keith

I realize that, Char. I'm just trying to explain why Ameriacans are still emotionally raw from that day. Toby Keith's song hits a great big nerve here.

I vividly recall that hideous attack on that...

Re: cover of SUNDOWN by Toby Keith

Although I'm normally a "Dove" with a capital "D" I have to admit liking Toby's "boot in the a$$" song. (love Alan Jackson's poignant tune as well)

I love the passion, the outrage and the fury in...

Re: cover of SUNDOWN by Toby Keith

Interesting.. I've listened to contemporary country although have gotten away from it recently. Toby's music/videos can be pretty good at times. Would love to hear him cover "Sundown."

Has anyone else ever noticed someone (I assume it's Gordon) breathing/inhaling during "Always On The Bright Side" while he's just playing the guitar? (not singing...) Is that what that is? I love it....
