Scottish Rite Auditorium 12/10/21
Bill purchased these tickets two years ago, and last night we were fortunate to finally see the show! We had a lovely dinner with Bill and Lizanne, then headed over to the show. The Scottish Rite Auditorium is a great venue with unique seating on the sides of the stage that puts you almost at eye level with the performers. Gord had an opening act - Joe Crookston from Ithaca, NY played the first set. He was very entertaining and a great singer/song writer. There was an intermission then Gord and the band began. Gord looked and sounded great and the band was tight as usual. The crowd was responsive and supportive with loads of enthusiasm. I think everyone felt as lucky to be there as I did!

Re: Scottish Rite Auditorium 12/10/21
It was a very fine show indeed. And probably the last time I'll see paper tickets. He sounded so healthy and happy I was amazed after all he's been through. Anyway I tried to post a review and some pictures on Gordon Lightfoot Fan Club page on FB. Keeps rejecting my efforts, lol. Thanks for the setlist. Hopefully we'll get to see him a few more times before we can't climb the stairs.
If he comes within driving distance of you go see him, you'll be glad you did. Bill :) |
