The fifth episode of CBC's fabulous new music series FROM THE VAULTS, airing this Thursday, December 13 at 9 p.m. (9:30 p.m. NT), features rare footage of Gordon Lightfoot, Celine Dion, the Guess Who and Crowbar. Titled STAR MACHINE, the episode shows how CBC shows like Talent Caravan, Sounds Great and Let's Go and events like the Maple Music Junket created novel ways to foster homegrown talent. Produced by Banger Films, FROM THE VAULTS mines the best footage in the CBC archives to tell revealing stories about the forces that shaped Canadian music.

ALL episodes are worth watching to see the amazing artists who began their careers/aided their careers by appearing on or having their own show on CBC TV.

You'd have to ask CBC ... lots of U.S. based Youtube videos are not seen in ''out of area'' places... I have no idea why..
