Ever Heard Demos?
 

I think we all know that they're recordings by artists/groups or even songwriters made to give to the record companies.

Here's such a case by Michael Fennelly who was head of a band called "Crabby Appleton."


Had only 1 hit called Go Back and in this case we'll hear the demo he made late in 69 and I'm guessing within a few months his band recorded it and had a hit with it.
