Taping / Broadcast of Austin show???
 

Any info. on a possible taping / broadcast of Gord's Austin show tonight?

It is at the venue where they broadcast the PBS series "Austin City Limits'.

Hopefully we'll see it sometime in the future.

No, it's just a concert, no ACL taping.
The venue is used mostly for concerts, even though it's also the home of the ACL TV show. They used to tape the show at a small studio in the Communications Bldg. on the Univ. of Texas campus. They moved to the new venue 5 years ago so it could serve as double duty, since Austin was in need of a new concert venue downtown. It's quite a setup. I'm told it's one of the most state-of-the-art TV studios in the U. S. And we do have quite the live music scene here! :)
