Phil Walsh, the coach of the Adelaide Crows, one of the country's 18 AFL clubs, was stabbed to death around 2am on July 3 soon after his son arrived home. Phil's wife was also stabbed. Investigations have mentioned the son's troubled state of mind. There has been an outpouring of grief across Australia, especially among the football community, and competing clubs have united to provide moving tributes before and after each game.

no team songs after the matches, black arm bands for the players, 1 minute silence before the matches, one match cancelled. and the bastard son was on Ice, the news said. whats the world coming to?

on a lighter note, should i still be wearing my Essendon scarf after last week's debacle with the saints?. 110 point loss - ouch!

I guess you've pulled out the Essendon Bombers scarf after beating my Melbourne Demons on Saturday. I was at the game and very disappointed at Melbourne's performance.
