Lightfoot cassettes holding 2 albums each
 

In the 1980s, stores in Australia sold Two On One cassettes featuring Gordon Lightfoot (and many other artists). I bought at least 3 of these cassettes:
Side 1 DSR/Side 2 IYCRMM
Side 1 EW/Side 2 SSOL
Side 1 DSR/Side 2 Shadows.
(Yes, DSR was sold in at least 2 combinations.)

Were these cassettes sold in other countries too?

Did those cassettes hold up? I would imagine the tape was so thin to accommodate the extra tape needed on the supply hub.

thanks to dave for dropping them on my doorstep!. SSOL sounds nice. i'd listen to the cd or vinyl, but its nice to have them on tape. now, where do i get the 8-tracks and reel 2 reels? :)

I mentioned this to my husband and he remembers buying a Cars double cassette in the 80s. The Cars on one side and Candy O on the flip side.
