JOHN SWARTZ: I had an interesting conversation with Gordon Lightfoot New Year’s Eve. He mentioned something I already knew about — a tribute to him — that I have been keeping quiet about because council is currently dealing with the matter in closed session. (No leaks there.) As soon as I get some official confirmation from the city (things can still go sideways on it), I’ll let you know.
