Space Poll: songs that are Out of this World
Astronaut Hadfield chose IYCRMM at #9 on his list
http://www.thestar.com/news/insight/...astronaut.html I thought High & Dry ...or Long Way Back Home might be more appropriate any other suggestions (by GL or other artists) for this 'far-out' theme? |

"Sea of Tranquility" comes to mind.

Gotta Get Away from Salute. Not one of my faves but appropriate I think.

DRIFTERS
Look around this place, there's a smile on every face We're somewhere in the afterglow out there among the stars Out there among the bars |

Too many Clues in This Room ~
"The space shuttle lands where the subway begins, there's a tear on the face of the moon..." Once you get out there, the only thing that comes to mind is "It's a long way back home"! -DellroyGM |

Oh the stars will remain in the heavens above
Til the sun burns out in a ring -- Nighttime. I've seen Gord perform it in concert a few times. It was the first song he wrote upon moving to a new house in Toronto in or about 2000. Not on any album, but a bootleg copy is on YouTube, if you have never heard it. |

From Shellfish:
Let it float off in the night, beneath the moon, So brightly shining down ... Let me show my way is best, on the wayward side tonight, Let a planet be your guide... |
