The material/the technology
 

Imagine if we'd had iPhones a hundred years ago. Jimmy Rogers and Robert Johnson with cd clarity. We have scratchy old quaint recordings that stand the test of time because the material is strong. Great players and innovators often couldn't afford "good" guitars.

So whenever I lust after a great guitar or wish for a slick recording device, I try to rethInk it and know that even my kid's Hanna Montana guitar played into an iPhone is enough to get a new tune on record...time will tell if the tune has staying power.

Hope to soon organize my new material into a collection.
For now, creating it is the fun.
