i see this gal from Canadian Idol (about 4 years ago, I recall?) has resurfaced and really gone with a pop genre blast to launch her coming out party

the end of the video has a Canadian stamp on it, loll


i thought she would have done a more jazzy, bluesy launch but maybe that will come later... maybe one day she will pull the bangs back like Feist finally did

nice voice and phrasings

as usual, i prefer the acoustic arrangement...no auto tune or bells and whistles to hide behind


Bieber will be even richer for signing her...he can rent a rocket for his next date with Gomez

i've come to like jimmy... hey, that rhythmic sequencer had a "Atari, pong/hockey" sound to it, lol

oh, i could have done without the kazoo and mouth accordion thingie..out of tune, lol


well, this gal seems genuinely pleasant and yes, a talent with parents who had her listening to good music...van morrison aint a bad influence to have!

she will likely leave the pop stuff (after she depletes the teenage gals of all their iTunes download buying funds) and go down a rickie lee jones avenue

oh...i am way behind on this hype...but i just heard some clips from her EP

UGH, any talent (or appeal of the jingly melodies) is lost in the dance bass/drum, techno vocal production style of each...it's almost got Miley/Britney flavour...oh well

i guess one might as well rake in the dollars while they are trending

well, i'm glad i got to hear some acoustic stuff, initially...keep humble, CRJ

i think Beiber spent too much time with that talentless (ok, can act, a bit) and classless Gomez pout... he could take cool and tact lessons from Jep

Beib, pull up your sag crotch pants, lose the NBA jerseys, get vertical when you walk and take the sunglasses off when indoors...you are white... go write more good songs and keep singing good... avoid auto tune, fake eyelashes and dating Swift
