Hey guys,

It's still happening here!

I haven't even made it into the tent yet re the David Rea cassette that appeared completely "out of the blue" (maybe there's an "ode" here) and now "Annabelle" is on the bill at the tribute shows???

Yes, that's the nickname of one of "the old ladies" in my life and of course her real name was Ann and "I'll be dammed if I recall her face."

But I need to click the escape button on this one. (it's done) Whew!

But JJ, I'm looking forward to the tribute shows at Hugh's Room in January but just found out that since we've been living in Ottawa, some gigs are materializing and there's one booked for me here on Saturday, the 21st of January so I'll have to work my travels around that gig, but I really need to see "Annabelle" in person.

And of course it is quite conceivable that, being mid winter, and the snow, in the beautiful province of Ontario, it may "lay on the ground."

Now this one could really be "Song For A Winter's Night."

terrific that the gigs are pouring in, ron.... we play a full Lightfoot tribute that weekend also

so am aiming for a sunday night glow, if it falls thru i'll just take the hit

char, how do i arrange to get the type of seat you get, so that i can visually taken in all of the licks and textures that miss christine will be colouring these lightfoot covers with?




it seems that video for HughsRoom youtube channel is finally a go, so let's find a nook that doesn't obstruct and then capture something as a keepsake for the artists and also to share with all

You'd have to check with Jory about recording the performers I think, if that's what you mean. - I'm not sure who took the videos for the Hugh's YouTube channel. Christine is usually smooshed int he back because that damn stage is so tiny that it's hard to see her from any table..lol
I'm looking into what nights I'll attend. I have to book a hotel each night because if I headed home I'd have to leave Hugh's by 11:30 to get the last train home, then turn around the next day and head back to the city by train. Lisa might be down for the saturday night only.
