June 14, 1894 - Massey Hall

In 1894, the famous Massey Hall in downtown Toronto opened with a performance of Handel's "Messiah" as part of a three-day festival. The top ticket price was one dollar.

We've been working with AOO the past year on a variety of stuff. You've got to get some of your cool old family film stuff digitized ( for your own keepsakes ) and then off to them, char. I just love 8 and 16mm gems.

Umm, Did the $1 include the ticketmaster fee?

You can take it from me.

These are the opening lyrics to the song "Primitive Thunder," written and recorded by Newfoundland singer songwriter Ron Hynes. Just thought they'd fit well into this thread.
See you at Mariposa my friend.
