A message from Liona Boyd about Terry Clements
 

Liona asked me to post this for her..

I was terribly saddened to hear of the passing of dear Terry Clements. Even though it's been many years since I last saw him, I knew what a good person and also what a great guitar player he was. I still remember how much fun Terry added to our tours with Gordon back in the late 70's, and how nice it was to see him and his family when they came here to play LA in the 90's. My parents have been going every year to the Massey Hall concerts so I feel I've kept in touch through them. I spoke with Gordon yesterday who told me how very saddened he was. It's awful to lose people who played a happy role in your life and my thoughts and prayers to his family, his band mates and all the extended Lightfoot family who've loved Terry and his music over the years.

I'm sure she grew to be quite close with the band when she toured with Lightfoot. THose concerts in the large venues gave her music some huge exposure and opened up her career.
