Alright!

Lightfoot.ca has a show on the schedule for June 27, 2010 in Virginia. Last year he played the same venue then came up to Morristown, New Jersey (where I saw him) two nights later.

I've got a good feeling about this. I saw him in Morristown in 08 and 09. Met him both times. Both shows were packed.

This year, as he was getting in the PT Cruiser driven by Rick, I asked him to please come back next year. He said "I can't promise anything."

I was concerned this year that the show might have low attendance since he had played there in 08 too but that was not the case.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

A PT Cruiser? They must have been out of Lincoln Towncars.

Last year we got lucky and he played just down the road from us in Roanoke. We skipped Wolftrap due to the drive/expense/babysitter issues and memory of the oppressive heat there from an earlier year. Hope he adds nearby local date...but at the time he recalled it had been 37 years since their last show in Roanoke!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to try to go to both the Wolftrap Show and the Keswick Tavern - hopefully that one will appear on the schedule soon. I'm being picky, but I hope there is a night or two in between the shows. It's hard doing two nights in a row when you have family obligations to consider. Can't wait!!!

Awww - C'mon now! You know they always schedule these two back-to-back to mess with us!

It is quite a drive from Vienna up to Glenside yes, but worth it to dine Greek style pre concert

I know, Bill, it's wishful thinking. I'm going to try to do both this year regardless. We'll have to wait and see.

Looking forward to Greek dining as well, John. I love that place!
