heh heh, ok, it was one of those 'few' typos i make that would make it through a spellcheck

the 'execute the poll initiator' selection is being sorely missed!;)

i'm glad they start the series fairly promptly, unlike the superbowl where i believe they take a week or three off in order to allow for sufficient hype...i think the umps will have subliminal instructions to ensure the series goes to the limit (too much tv and gate revenues at stake when you've got the large market teams in the mix)

ok, i was wrong (again!)

hope you've rehydrated, rm

you've gotta admire those classic sports franchises (even the ones that prefer to crawl along the bottom of the pack like Leaks and Cubs, etc)

I am glad Maple Leaf Gardens is living on in a hockey sense (recently announced)...I hope Wrigley is preserved forevermore...love this doc, clear footage:

http://www.nfb.ca/film/king_of_the_hill/?ec=en20091104

thought some Chicago fans might enjoy (or even Cub haters:) )

now that everything is online one way or another, i have stopped buying the NFB treasures that ha ing been featured in the subscription catalogues (or e-mail notices) the past few decades
