Squeaky Fromme, Sandra Good & Barbara Frum
I'm not sure why but I've been relatively ignorant to the extended Manson family topic over the years but I heard something about along time inmate being released months ago and then last night came across a disturbing interview between her former room mate and the late, great Barbara Frum
...it seems these two 'family' members are both free...even though many years have passed, does anyone know if there are conditions on their freedom (eg. they are not allowed to interact, etc)...maybe they're considered too elderly to take any sort of harmful action...but isn't 60 the new 40? I realize many put pets and other animals ahead of human beings but I've not come across folks who would harm a human to save a tree btw, for the radio interview, scroll along the bottom to #29 http://archives.cbc.ca/great_interviews/ it actually kind of reminds me of the Billy Bob QTV interview |

I can't speak authoritatively, but it's my understanding that not all members of the Manson family were involved in the murders. In Squeaky's case, she was in prison for an attempted assasination of Ford and served 34 years. Since Ford wasn't harmed and since she's not technically a murderer it's not surprising perhaps that she might be paroled. I don't know about the other one.

Actually Squeaky (where the heck do you get a name like that?) could have been paroled years ago but had decided life in prison is what she was used to. Don't know if they finally kicked her out or what but she's free now.
I have trouble with the idea that they think someone can't into trouble once they are 60. Heck, I'm 58 now..... |

Re: Squeaky Fromme, Sandra Good & Barbara Frum
thanks for the feedback guys...i like how the USA puts the hammer down harder then we do, not necessarily death (not sure how may innocent folks have been unjustly executed)...i'm not so bother by the two that i speak of being free now but i think they should have to be kept apart (and not allowed to see or talk to Manson) as a condition of their freedom...or is that unconstitutional?
anyhow, i remember hearing that Frum interview a long while back and when i heard it again it seemed bothersome and i wondered if that woman could be rehabed from that state of mind or brainwash |
