Re: October concerts
There's some confusion about the early October schedule:
Ticketmaster is selling for Friday Oct. 2 in Rapid City, SD, but the schedule indicates that he is in Rapid City on Oct. 3 and in Sioux Falls on Oct. 2. Hopefully, Gord's people monitor this message board and will straigthen out the schedule. Going to Fargo Sept. 30 and thinking about Sioux Falls and/or Omaha. |
Re: October concerts
Also- Sioux Falls is in SD, not ND.

Re: October concerts
Gord's people/EMR give Wayne the tour schedule that he has at www.lightfoot.ca

Re: October concerts
Hi everyone,
I spoke to the "boss", at EMP and also copied the schedule from Wayne's site, that I posted. As explained to me, sometimes things change. It is always a good idea to call the venue and see what they show on their schedule. Please try to see at least one concert this year if you can. It is well worth your time and $$. Anyone wanting to join my party please send me a personal message (PM). I will be joining the tour mid month. :) :) Be well, DSR |
Re: October concerts
Hey now!!!! :) :) :)
Now I know why Rose was trying to contact me the other night (sorry I missed your call) :( Looks like I'll be able to make up for missing last year's Phoenix show. Which I missed because,by the time I returned to Phoenix from the LA / San Diego shows,I was pretty much out of $$. It would have been great to se e him again at Dodge, where I first saw him in '02 but that's the breaks. So,almost goes without saying.....I shall be there on Oct. 25th! ;) Yes! |

Re: October concerts
Hmmm, the concert in Grants Pass is very tempting, there is so much uncertainty about my job so I can't commit yet. -Rick in Bend, Oregon

Re: October concerts
OK YES I'll be at the Rogue Theater in Grant's Pass this Friday. Yippee I get to see Gordon in concert again, last time was in Sparks, Nevada 2005.

Re: October concerts
Great news, BendRick. Have fun!

Re: October concerts
Have a great time BendRick. I was also at the Sparks concert. I think I sat at the same table as you or the table next to it. They weren't really tables though were they? They were more like oversized serving plates with legs. I think you were RenoRick back then.
I'll be at the Napa show this Saturday and am greatly looking forward to it. TC |
Re: October concerts
I am looking forward to attending the upcoming concert in Laughlin, Nevada this month. It's been a few years since I've been to a show. It's an outside amphitheatre and should be a warm, comfortable evening for the gang. I will follow up after the concert.

Re: October concerts
I have 2 tickets to the Canyon Club that I cannot use. Anyone interested?

Re: October concerts
Regarding the Grant's Pass Oregon Concert I felt so alone. Gordon's set-list seemed to dwell on getting old and dying. There were times the crowd raved when he did old hits. That's all I have to say.

Re: October concerts
Hey BendRick,
Not exactly a glowing report but that's OK, ya feel what ya feel. I'm pretty sure I understand where your coming from. The set list is always the same so I don't think Gord's intent is to dwell on anything in particular. That being said, many of his songs have always had a certain sadness to them. Combine that with watching him struggle with singing and playing and I can see where you leave feeling that way. The only time I felt any kind of sadness during a song was when he sang APPT. That one brought a tear to my eye (maybe two). To end on a happy note...seeing Gord (in Napa) was one of the best concerts I've attended (for reasons already mentioned on another post) and I can't wait to see him again next year when he and the band make their way through California!
