Ken and I would like to join you but I'm not sure the doctor will release me by then. I am having my right knee replaced on the 26th of March. :) Let's stay in touch and maybe we can join your party. Maybe my sisters, Kerstin and Kathy can be there too. :biggrin:

Hey, Rez! Glad to know you're still lurking! I miss our chats. God, I would love to be at the festival. Just two little problems: I live on the east coast, and on those dates in June I'll be in Mexico.

Hey Don Q . . . been on the absent list of most everything, but am seriously
re-joining life [already in progress]

Making the Folk Festival shouldn't be a problem: just apply the physicist's
String Theory and establish a stable Worm Hole . . .

Ran into Renee Bodie [the lady w/ the cookie whose sponsoring the event] at
Mc Cabe's in Santa Monica. She even got Ramblin' Jack Elliot to give a kind word.

Just got word that The Kingston Trio have joined the Bill.

Heath permitting, Bob Shane [origianl KT] will appear also.

An interesting question, that - when does a group made up of
zero original members cease to become 'the group' and enter
into Tribute Land . . . ?

Dunno, for certain - but The Kingston Trio current line up is run
by Bob Shane - so the lineage is certainly there.

Most importantly - The Music is still there!
A fine show these guys present, with nary a hint of over-the-hill
. . . ness.

So, yes - they are worthy of the LA Acoustic Folk Festival!
