Who's Going to Davenport Concert?
 

Just wondering how many of us are going to see Gord in Davenport.

I'm going with my girlfriend , and going to meet some friends there.

Hopefully I can see Gord after the Show!!!

I am going along with 3 of my friends. Can't wait! I would love to meet him, especially since his lyrics were the inspiration for an article I wrote.

Maybe we'll get a chance to meet. My girlfriend works at Genesis Health Groups Family Practice in Bettendorf. She's in medical records.

You went through quit an ordeal with your husband. Gord's music has always been able to touch my heart in many ways.



I met Gordon, the last time He was in Davenport (April 2001). He was a nice as could be. It was at the rear door of the theater, back by the equipment truck. That was a great night. I was able to get a copy of the venue poster which Gordon and the whole band signed. A pic with Gord was taken. I even shared some of my poems with him, which he asked for copies of. 8 years later because of 9/11 he's getting them. That's were my "Ode to Gordon" fits in. I was going to try giving him copies of the poems one of which relates to
"I'm not supposed to Care". When the idea to write something for Gord popped up.
Hopefully I get a chance to give it to him
