Help me do my Homework

For a class I have a question to answer in 200-400 words. I'd like to write about Gord, but the answers have to fit the assignment

Any thoughts on how, or if this can be done?
The second question is key.

From your knowledge of music, recordings and recording artists, what genre of music and/or what recording artists were not included in the text's chapter on recordings that you think should have been?

Explain why you think the genre/artist(s) you chose should have been included in the text, and how they were influential in recording history.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Help me do my Homework

Maybe this will do it...
The CD closes with a simple salute to the songwriter. “Lightfoot” is sung by Aengus Finnan, a young singer who represents the new generation of Canadian songwriters who regard Gordon Lightfoot as an artist who broke boundaries by writing songs that were uniquely Canadian, and that remain influential, and enormously popular, today.

I'm not sure what you're asking Kim.
I don't know what/who was in the text you mention..

I do know that many of the songs that Aengus has written are his generations 'Lightfoot" songs..He is the artist I find most like Lightfoot but with his own remarkable touch. His vocals are rich with emotion and sensibilities regarding love, lost love, relationships, history and country. He has many more songs in him and one day, as I have fervently wished for several years now, (and prodded him about) he will put those songs into another CD.
His "Lightfoot" song on the Beautiful cd reflects the influence Lightfoot has had on his songwriting.

In 200-400 words or less, I am to write about Gord, if I can fit him in the assignment.

Explain why Gordon Lightfoot should be included, and how he was influential in recording history.

I may have answered my question with :http://www.gg.ca/media/doc.asp?lang=e&DocID=20

The trick may be to only use 200-400 words.
