I live in Miami, its been in the 80s all week...I'm not quite in shorts wearing shape yet...getting there though, but climate wise, I could if I wanted to.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Billw! I wish you and your family a peaceful holiday too.

No news yet from the Keswick Theater. I'm planning on calling in January, and if nothing's lined up, I guess I'm going to Wolftrap in July. I'll have a happier 2009 if I have concert tickets.

I'm with you 100% there. At our house, while there wasn't a whole lot of room at the table, there was more than enough space all over the livingroom to set, and heaven knows that we had enough food to feed an army, practically. Now, as for the busy part, we did the majority of our holiday cooking the day before so that we wouldn't have to deal with tons of dirty dishes later. That way, if we had anyone to drop in, we could be better able to set down with them & have a proper visit. I don't know why more people don't do that.
