Back Home :)!!!!
ah to be home  and as soon as I turned onto my street in the early a.m. hours ...I was slightly startled by an owl that swooped down across the road in front of my car-as if to welcome me back home to the wilds of this small New England town. More wildlife to welcome me home as I pulled my car into the driveway and spotted the herd of deer in the meadow. But for a few avian creatures soaring above us at work (and a very scared field mouse) -and the sighting of a big buck by some locals...the animals I was accustomed to seeing everyday in OH were those grazing in farm pastures. Cows, horses, alpacas, goats and sheep.

Re: Back Home :)!!!!
Hi Pam,
Nice to hear from you and glad you made it home okay. Your post is really interesting....sounds like some nice finds. Field mouse is so cute...lol. Great that you made new friends. It sound like you had fun in-between the work you were doing. Serpent Mound looks fascinating. LOL...on the Longaberger Basket pic. Jeez, I know so many people that collect those and have the parties. I just never got into them...too expensive for my house. It would end up being a kitty bed like everything else around here is. :) I buy my baskets from Walmart :) Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and let you know that I am happy you made it through and you are back home. Have a great Thanksgiving :) |
