Pete Seeger: The Power of Song
 

I watched this newly released dvd last night and highly recommend it. Great footage from his early days and of the Weavers.

About half way through there is a clip labelled Canadaian Television with Pete singing Wim-O-Weh in front of some back up singers. On the far left of the screen.........Gord singing his heart out. It looks like a scene from the Country Hoedown show. I wonder if the producers of the dvd noticed it. One of them is Michael Cohl of Concert Productions International ("CPI) who I suspect is a Gord fan. CPI held a benefit concert in Toronto years ago to celebrate their success which featured Simon and Garfunkel, Gord and Blue Rodeo.
