There used to be a poster named Violet Blue Horse that could sure tell you how to celebrate Earth Day. Miss her in a strange sort of way. She could stir things up and get a good ruckus going with one post. ROTFLMAO !

i think the closet I'll probably ever come to it is in how I recycle my empty water bottles. We buy a lot of bottled water, in both half liter & full gallon sizes, and when ever we empty a gallon size, we refillit from the tap & then store it in a storage shed. That way, if power goes out during a storm, or if the pipes freeze in the winter, we still have the means to both flush the toilet & wash dishes. We also use the smaller size bottles to mix koolaid in. Those are the only ones we toss into the trash after they've been used. Only other reason we would toss a palstic bottle after even one use is if it's been drunk out of directly.
