This guy Ron Lindeman sounds really different, but is obviously a Gordon Lightfoot fan... :)

Yes he has quite an original take on Lightfoot's songs and seems like a talented musician. His distinctive voice really helps put a different spin on the songs. Not sure what I think of it but I approve of his efforts.

I am afraid he is a bit too different for my taste:)

That's okay, not everyone will like someone that is that extreme. I just like the more traditional covers.

He kind of reminds me of Tiny Tim:)

I guess when I said "not sure what to think of it" I was trying find a perhaps overly diplomatic way of saying more or less the same thing :)

I am sure there are plenty of people that enjoy his efforts...just not the two of us...lol:)

Wow. I don't know. I think he's someone who wants to play Lightfoot tunes, but just doesn't know how.
